What this is

FantaFellas is a game for a group of friends. You agree on bonuses and fines, you hand them to each other as things happen, and the app keeps score.

It is currently in beta: features are missing, things may change, and data could be lost. It is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will work or keep working.

Your account

You need to be 16 or over. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account.

One account per person. Do not pretend to be somebody else.

We record that you accepted these terms, which version, and when — because saying you agreed is not the same as being able to show it.

What you write is yours — and your responsibility

Group names, rules, notes: you write them, you are responsible for them. They stay inside your group, but that does not make them harmless.

This game hands out fines to real people who will read them. Do not use it to bully, harass, humiliate or single anybody out. Do not write anything about a person that you would not say to their face, in front of the rest of the group.

Anybody can switch themselves to "cannot be picked" at any time, and anybody can leave a group at any time. Nobody has to take part in being scored.

Taking a card out of the group

When a game ends you can download a card of how it went and share it wherever you like. The default one names nobody: the podium, your season, and the fines as a single total.

There is a second version that names people next to what they were fined for. Inside the group that is a joke everybody signed up to; outside it, it is a picture of your friends being judged, and they are not the ones posting it. The app asks you to confirm before it hands you that image, and by confirming you take responsibility for where it ends up.

An admin can switch the naming version off for a whole group, and should if anybody asks. If you are in a group and would rather not appear on a card at all, say so — and switch yourself to "cannot be picked", which keeps you out of every card by definition.

Reviews

You can write us a review at the end of a game. It is the one thing you can write here that is meant to be read by strangers: we show it on our public page, with the stars, your words, and the name you picked when you wrote it.

You choose that name yourself, and it is frozen as you typed it — changing your username later does not change what is already published. Nothing goes up before we have looked at it, and we can decline one. Ask us and we will take yours down; delete your account and it goes with it.

Write about the app, not about the people you played with. A review is not the place to name somebody, and we will not publish one that does.

Responsible use

Nothing this app provides scores anybody for drinking or for using any substance, and no built-in rule ever will. If you write your own rules, do not aim them there either.

Look after each other. A game is not worth anyone’s safety.

What we may do

We may suspend or remove an account that is used to harass people or to break these terms.

We may change the service, and these terms, as the app develops. If a change matters, we will say so.

When a change matters enough, the app will show you the new text and ask you to accept it before you carry on. If you would rather not, you can stop using it and delete your account — there is no version of this that works without an agreement.

Liability

This is a free game in beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens as a result of using it — including lost data or anything that goes on between the people in a group.
